Components of Desktop:

3. Taskbar

Components of Taskbar:
1. Start Button
2. Pinned or Opened applications
3. Notification Area

start menu opens when we clicked on start button (KBS: Win button)

start menu contains:
1. pinned applications
2. recent applications
3. system settings and folders

Window
It is rectangular shaped box that is used to show the user interface of any software.

Each Window contains the following parts:
1. title bar
2. Control buttons
3. Commands in the form of menus, tabs or tool bars
4. Work Area
5. Status bar

Lab Activity:
1. open more than one window
2. change between opened windows
3. using control buttons
4. manual resize window
5. move window
6. minimize all windows at a time
7. arrange windows
8. restart and shutdown windows
9. open any application using search bar
10. pin apps on to taskbar or start menu
