3 ways to insert table:
Insert tab–>Table Button–>Move mouse across grid layout to specify number of rows and columns
(or)
Insert Tab–>Table Button–>click on Insert Table option
Insert Table dialog appears
Specify number of cols and rows
Specify auto fit behaviour
1. fixed column width
2. auto fit to content
3. auto fit to windowAdditional Tabs “design” and “layout” appears when you click inside the table.

options in the Design tab are used to format table
options in the layout tab are used to do structural modifications to the table.
